How Much Does a Franchise Fried Chicken Store Owner Actually Keep Per Chicken?
Fried chicken selling prices do not equal store owners' profits. Using data from a 2026 food service industry survey, we examine the cost structure and analyze methods to calculate profit and loss per chicken by breaking down delivery app settlements, store operating income, and the labor compensation of the owner and their family.
